PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has a new campaign logo that’s giving some people the giggles.
The logo was released Friday as Trump announced his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.
It features an interlaced blue “T” and “P” next to red stripes that evoke the American flag. The “T” penetrating the loop of the “P” looked sexually suggestive to some.
Internationally recognized graphic designer Cyrus Highsmith laughed when asked to weigh in on the logo. He said it is in line with Trump’s personality and it indicates Trump wants to make sure people know he’s in charge.
Presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s logo features an “H” with an arrow pointing right. When it was unveiled last year, some Democrats were upset that the arrow did not point left.
